Cranberry
Harvests are trucked along Federal Furnace Rd and Route 44 through the
South-Coastal communities of Plymouth, Carver and Wareham. The soil is naturally
sandy which makes it ideal for cranberry production. Cranberries and fall remind
people of King Richard's Faire, a local event that takes place every fall in the
town of Carver Massachusetts. Carver is a small rural town that produces
cranberries. Aerial photography shows the true beauty of these actual bogs.
Cranberries are said to be a kidney cleanser and many people like the taste of
ocean spray cranberry juice. I grew up drinking the stuff. Further south on Cape
Cod many antique and tourist type attractions can be found as well as
a train line running across the Cape Cod Canal that offers scenic tours. The cranberry region ends once you get to about Dartmouth Mass (Dartmouth.JPG) and
to the north Raynham. Massachusetts and Wisconsin the the nations top producing
cranberry stated and most of the cranberries in Massachusetts are grown in towns
such as Plympton, Duxbury (Duxbury Photo), Carver, Middleboro, Rochester,
Halifax and Plymouth . During the summer bluefish and striped bass come in from the south and fishing season here begins here.
New Hampshire

Near the center of New Hampshire sits
Concord the State capital. The Next town over is Hopkinton. Do you remember
going to the state fair as a kid? I remember going to the Hopkinton fair with my
family. The Hopkinton fair takes place every
September in Hopkinton New Hampshire. Activities such as rafting, fishing,
four-wheeling and horseback riding are all very popular activities in this
region of New Hampshire ,which runs through the central part of the state.
Fishing near Hopkinton takes place in the local streams lakes and oceans. Hillsboro county has an extensive history as a fishing/hunting
region as well as logging/mill industry.
